Challenge: Building Di Investor Relations from the ground up.

Challenge: Building Di Investor Relations from the ground up.
Listed companies need to communicate complex information clearly, credibly and consistently. At the same time, traditional investor relations communication often struggles to reach investors beyond a company’s existing shareholder base.

Fenix and Dagens industri saw an opportunity to create a broader investor relations offering that combined high-quality production, effective distribution and the credibility of Sweden’s leading financial media brand.
The starting point
The collaboration began with a video marketing concept built around interviews with listed-company CEOs.

Executives were invited to the Bonnier News studio, where professional video interviews were recorded and produced. The CEOs could present company news, explain their business and share their vision for the future in a polished and accessible format.

The videos were then distributed together with Dagens industri through online video formats and promoted across relevant channels and placements within the Di media environment.

The result was a successful native video format that gave listed companies a credible and engaging way to reach investors through a trusted financial platform.
From one product to a new business area
The success of the video format revealed a much broader need.

Both Fenix and Dagens industri saw that listed companies needed better ways to make video, streaming and content a natural part of their investor relations communication.

Together, we began developing a broader offering covering several parts of the IR journey, including:
  • CEO interviews and corporate video
  • Quarterly presentations
  • Capital Markets Days and investor events
  • Equity story content
  • Press releases and company news
  • Distribution across the Dagens industri media environment
Fenix helped develop the products and commercial model, then took responsibility for bringing the new offering to market.

Within the first year, the new business area attracted 30 customers.
Building the platform
As the offering grew, Qbrick joined the project as the technology and production partner.

Together, the parties developed a new platform for managing and distributing investor relations communication within Dagens industri’s digital environment.

This transformed the original video concept into a comprehensive IR service that combines content production, streaming technology, distribution and the reach and credibility of Dagens industri.
The result:
Di Investor Relations gives Swedish listed companies a more complete way to manage and strengthen their investor communication.

Companies can produce and distribute important financial communication through one of Sweden’s most trusted business media environments. This helps them present their story professionally, reach relevant investors and make their IR communication more accessible and engaging.

What started as a successful CEO interview format became an entirely new business area for Dagens industri.
